Foundation & History
NPO Tsukuba OSS Technical Support Center (Headquarters: Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Chairman: Osamu Tatebe) was established on April 26, 2013, to provide technical support for open-source software (OSS) originating from Japan, including the Gfarm file system. As an accessible support infrastructure for widely deploying OSS developed by Japanese researchers, including the Gfarm file system, we provide advanced maintenance & implementation support & promote technical information sharing. We also hold symposiums to share information about the latest technologies & their implementations, as well as user needs. Furthermore, we promote system integration through technical support & other services.
